Premier League: Tips for Boxing Day!

English Premier League back to business with yet another Boxing Day! League leaders and Club World Cup winners Liverpool clash against Leicester. The Foxes are in second spot after a superb start to the season, but they are ten points adrift of Jurgen Klopp’s unbeaten pacesetters…

Our predictions for tomorrow matches:

26.12.2019 | 20:00 | Leicester – Liverpool
Liverpool beat Leicester 2-1 at Anfield earlier in the season thanks to James Milner’s controversial late penalty, though Rodgers’ side would respond by winning their next eight games. They went down 3-1 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, despite Jamie Vardy firing Leicester ahead. Liverpool have won their last two Premier League matches at Leicester. They have never won three consecutive away matches against them in top-flight history.

Team news -> The fitness of midfielder Harvey Barnes is being monitored by the Leicester medical team after he suffered an ankle problem at Manchester City. Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (ankle) has been ruled out until the new year, while Dejan Lovren (muscle), Joel Matip (knee) and Fabinho (ankle) remain sidelined.

Our Predictions: Goals score draw

26.12.2019 | 15:00 | Chelsea – Southampton
Both Chelsea and Southampton are looking to record back-to-back victories. Chelsea, currently on fourth with 32 points, aim to extend their Premier League record to 15 Boxing Day matches without defeat. Southampton moved out of the bottom three with victory at Aston Villa last time out and are seeking a fourth win from six matches.

Team news -> Cesar Azpilicueta will be assessed by the Chelsea medical team after sustaining a knock at Spurs. The Blues otherwise report no new fresh injury concerns. Southampton striker Shane Long is a major doubt for the festive fixtures with a knee problem. However, Kevin Danso (illness) and Sofiane Boufal (toe) are set to return. Moussa Djenepo (hamstring) and Yan Valery (virus) are still unavailable.

Our Predictions: Chelsea to win and Goals over 2,5.
