F1 Singapore Grand Prix

On 23rd September 2012 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix race will take place. With Louis Hamilton being this season’s F1 Italian Grand Prix winner, his appearance in this race involves big expectations of English fans.


With his 142 points, he is the runner-up of individual driver’s ranking, losing 37 points for Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso. As he is in great shape this season, he is very likely to win Singapore’s race and score some precious points. In addition, rumour has it that at the end of the year, due to his expiring contract with McLaren, he is going to join Mercedes team to replace the legend, Schumacher.

Another McLaren’s driver, Jenson Button, is placed at 6th place, with 31 points less than Red Bull’s Mark Webber. Because of excellent performance of English drivers, Singapore’s Grand Prix is going to be willingly watched by the UK audience.

The race itself takes place in a 686,609sqm Circuit Park, with 10,800m of fencing planted and 1,500 lighting projectors installed. As it is fifth edition of this unique event, Singapore GP has called on some of the most popular artists to create visual feasts across the Circuit Park to guarantee a multi-sensory experience from the moment that patrons enter the gates. What is more, as the race is Singapore’s biggest outdoor event, over 350 entertainers will appear on 6 stages. All things considered, Singapore’s Grand Prix will be not only thrilling, but also very enjoyable event for all F1 supporters.
